Professional linguists

As a growing business we are always on the lookout for new talent. We look for professionally qualified linguists to join our team. We have a range of opportunities available but most work will be on a freelance basis.

In order to work for smartword you must meet the following criteria.

• Must be professionally qualified i.e. BA or MA level linguist.
• Competitive rates of pay.
• Must have at least 100,000 words of previously translated material which is referencable.
• Must use CAT tools, SDL Trados preferred.
• Please indicate on your CV if you have specialist areas (e.g. medical, technical etc).
• Must be a native speaker of the target language.
• Preferance will be given to candidates who live in the target country.
